This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the University of Minnesota and Red Llama. The University of Minnesota is accredited by the ACCME to provide
continuing medical education for physicians.

SLS Masters Class Employs SimPraxis™ Exercise—September 15, 2008

Coordinated Validation Study of SimPraxis™ Trainer Started at Four Medical Schools–February 15, 2008
Four Universities have agreed to conduct a coordinated validation study of the SimPraxis Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Trainer starting in February 2008. The University of Washington Department of Surgery and Institute for Surgical and Interventional Simulation (ISIS), under the direction of Dr. Mika Sinanan, will lead this project. Columbia University, under the direction of Dr. Warren Widmann, Oregon Health Sciences University, under the direction of Dr. John Hunter, and the University of Minnesota Medical School, under the direction of Dr. Mike Maddaus, are joining together with the University of Washington in this project with the stated objective incorporating the Trainer into their surgery curriculum in 2008. While the full validation study is expected to go on for several years the initial results are expected to be available in the Fall of 2008.
SimPraxis™ Trainer to Be Incorporated into Surgery Curriculum–January 5, 2008

Red Llama hires Steve Samuelson as CEO—November 03, 2006
We are pleased to announce that Steve Samuelson is joining Red Llama as our Chief Executive Officer.

Steve has 29 years of experience in the Information Systems industry. Most of his IBM career was in sales and sales management working with very large accounts. He has an extensive background with large systems, software, networking, complex business deals and channel management. He was the IBM Branch Manager in both Rochester, NY and Seattle as well as the Asst. General Manger for IBM in the Pacific Northwest before taking early retirement from IBM in 1992.

Since leaving IBM Steve has started three companies. He was the co-founder, President and CEO of a start-up on-line PC services business that delivered large-scale PC network management tools and techniques to small, midrange and large business as a service.
Red Llama Releases Version 1.0 of SimPraxis™ Interactive Simulation Software Platform—October 01, 2006
SEATTLE, WA—Red Llama, Inc announced today that it is releasing of version 1.0 of its
SimPraxis™ interactive simulation software platform.

SimPraxis is the underlying software platform for developing cognitive training modules for medical professionals. In addition to Red Llama’s patent-pending interactive video technology, SimPraxis includes the capability to interact with 3-D models to train on the correct placement of devices inside the body, medical imaging and other media types. Red Llama is currently working with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (an affiliate of Harvard Medical School) to create a hysterectomy training module for surgical residents and medical students.
